There'll be lots of fun programming and activities to look forward to, as this will be an entire day's worth of Gundam-related events for fans of all kinds. This will be a free, family-friendly event, with a few paid events happening throughout the day, as well.

We'll be holding a PS4 tournament for Gundam Extreme Vs. Maxi Boost ON. This will be a 1 on 1 tournament, with standard rules applying. Players are welcome to bring their own controllers if they prefer. We will have prizes for the winner, as well as free-play after the tournament.
Bring your best model(s) and compete for prizes, or come by and check out these masterpieces and vote for People’s Choice. Models will be graded by judges on a 30-point scale, with additional People’s Choice awards voted on by attendees.
Judging Criteria
- Paint Job – 10 points
- Overall Creativity – 10 points
- Technical Mastery – 10 points
People’s Choice awards are determined by attendee votes.
Rules
- Official Bandai Gundam models only. Entries must be official Bandai model kits from the Gundam universe. Kitbashing with multiple Bandai kits and dioramas are allowed and encouraged.
- Appropriate content required. Models may not include vulgar, obscene, graphic, or sexually themed content. If you are unsure whether your entry complies, please ask staff.
Judging Categories
Standard Gundam Models
High Grade, Master Grade, Real Grade, Perfect Grade, and other traditional Gundam
kits. Gundam models of any scale or grade belong in this category.
SD, Mascots, and Non-Mecha
SD Gundams, Haropla, Petit’gguys, mascot kits, and humanoid Figure-Rise Standard
models from the Gundam universe.
Diorama
Gundam models displayed as part of a scene with a base. Any number of models may
be included, as long as the entry qualifies as a diorama.
We’ve joined forces with local artists to bring you a collection of Gundam-inspired creations, featuring a limited-edition RX-EXPO playmat!
Bring in a model from home, or one purchased one during the con, borrow some of our tools, and have a relaxing build sesh! You can also hang out with friends, new and old, and chit-chat with fellow builders.
Tools and customization materials will be provided. Models are yours to keep! A selection of models (from series such as Gundam and Pokémon!) will be provided, for $10 per person, or bring your own model and participate for free! Model selection subject to change, supplies and available seats are limited, one model per person.
Take photos of your models, or even your new purchased anime statues with our mini photobooth! With excellent lighting, different background inserts, and even props; you can take some truly excellent photos for posting online or for your own collection.
Wear your best Gundam or Mecha themed cosplay and see who takes home the first, second, and third place ribbons! Photos with cosplayers will also be available in some cases, but please always ask for permission first before taking photos.
The current reigning and defending GBWC World Heavyweight Champion will be in the house! Perhaps a new #1 contender will be determined at RX-EXPO? There's only one way to find out! Photos and autographs will be available.
MobileSuitGutsy will be live and in color! Known throughout the land for his extensive knmowledge of all things toyetic, Gutsy brings a one-of-a-kind experience and charm to RX-EXPO.
